The Winding Road provides full time employment to more than 200 artisans, mostly women, many who had been at risk for human trafficking and a life of poverty. Following fair trade principles, our suppliers pay fair wages, provide a safe work environment, and reimburse workers for medical expenses, transportation to and from work and school tuition. This enables our workers to improve their families’ standard of living.
The Winding Road Felt Collection is hand made with care in Nepal. We use only 100% natural wool and non-toxic Azo free permanent dyes.
